Safe and Secure

This whole thing with my being able to travel on an invalid passport.. read previous post.... makes me really wonder as to how effective all these security measures at airports really are.

Atleast I had my own (if invalid) passport with me... but what about this kid that my mum was telling me about that got on a plane in LONDON without anything documents? They only realised he was there because the head count was showing an extra passenger. The kid was already eating and drinking by the time it was figured out that he got through security unchecked.

Is all this talk about security just that... talk?

Of late ive begun to wonder more and more bout just what is keeping our planet from imploding onto itself. It will, soon enough (make no mistake bout it) but im hoping we can time it just right so that we and maybe our kids can enjoy our lifetimes. Terrorists, diseases, natural disasters- take your pick. And the one conclusion of come to is that we are living on luck. Pure luck.

luck and chance are two sides of the same coin. chances are that our luck will run out, but the great thing about luck is that it always comes back. we're too many to be obliterated, so for the survivors of whatever catastrophe that befalls us, luck will change, sooner or later. but yes, with monkeys at the helm of this world, luck is our only hope.
